Norwegian Conditions in Australia!

Norway is renowned for its extreme winter conditions which made it the logical place to design and develop
an ADT with permanent 6 wheel drive and great traction. However not many people think of Australia as having similar conditions.
An MT31 was delivered to McConnell Dowell to a job site in the Alpine Region of North Victoria.
Working high in the mountains, temperatures frequently drop below 0 degrees Celsius during winter.
The MT31 will be used to transport material removed from the process of boring a 16km tunnel through a mountain that will
eventually carry the water to a new hydro power station that is also to be built with the help of the MT31.
This is the first unit shipped to McConnell Dowell and was chosen for the Moxy's ability to haul out of the steep inclines of
the tip and its ability to travel over difficult terrain without loosing its traction.
