For the Worlds Biggest Construction Show the Worlds Biggest ADT
28th March 2007
Moxy Engineering, the Norwegian based manufacturer of six wheel drive ADTs, is proud to announce
to launch of its new flagship model, the MT51.
As one of the originators of articulated dump trucks, Moxy has taken its vast industry knowledge and
built on its unique competitor beating concepts to take the ADT to a new level.
Jamie Thomson, Moxy's Managing Director explains "We have had the market leading ADT design since
the introduction of the Plus1 concept in the late 1990's but there is never time to sit back and relax. At
Moxy we always want to push the boundaries so that we can continue to meet our customers current
and future needs. The design team has really excelled itself with the MT51, everything has been
improved from running costs to driver comfort".
Due to go into production in the 2nd half of 2007, the MT51 will be the worlds biggest ADT available.
Customers wanting to buy an MT51 in 2007 had better be quick though as Jamie continues, "Even
though we have only given out details of the MT51 to a small number of dealers we are already having
to consider increasing our budgeted production of MT51s based on the number of advance orders".
Some of the key benefits of the new MT51 are:
Increased stability for what is already the most stable truck in the market, eradicating any need
for costly wide, low profile tyres.
Improved safety due to better visibility achieved with the new cab and bonnet design.
Greater Efficiency: The MT51 features a higher load capacity and lower unladen weight than
competitor trucks.
Easier Servicing: Most servicing work can be done from ground level due to the centralized
remote mounted service points and clever design.
Higher Comfort: New cab, built to a very high standard of trim, and fully independent front
nitrogen suspension dramatically improving what is already acknowledged as the best driver
comfort in the industry.
Takes the best of the current range of Moxy ADT's including traction from the rear freeswinging
tandem, power from the 15 litre Cummins engine and reliability from over 30 years of
ADT design experience.
The MT51 will be shown for the first time on Moxy's stand (Hall B3 406/501) at BAUMA 2007, Munich,
in April.
